In the Reallab Hamburg, around 30 project partners are conducting research into how digitalization can make transportation systems more sustainable, safer, more comfortable and more reliable. The special feature: Residents can test the offers themselves and get involved via participation and dialog events. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) and emerged from the National Platform for the Future of Mobility (NPM).
The following speakers will discuss initial findings at the Citizens Lab of the IAA Mobility 2021 on Munich’s Marienplatz on September 8, 2021:
- Frank Weber, Member of the Board of Management for Development of the BMW Group and head of the working group “Digitalization for the Mobility Sector” within the framework of the National Platform Future of Mobility
- Henrik Falk, managing director of Hamburger Hochbahn AG and consortium leader of the Reallabor Digitale Mobilität Hamburg (RealLabHH)
- Prof. Dr. Katharina Seifert, Head of the Institute of Transportation Systems Engineering and responsible for the citizens’ dialogue within the RealLabHH Hamburg.
Since we want to enter into dialogue with all citizens and visitors at the IAA Citizens Lab, access is basically free of charge and possible without an official IAA ticket.
